New issue of the Global Labour Journal

The GLJ has just published its latest issue – a Special Issue on “Acquiring and Applying Power Resources”, guest edited by Carmen Ludwig, Stefan Schmalz and Edward Webster. Two of the three guest editors have links to SWOP: Carmen Ludwig is a research associate, and Edward Webster is emeritus professor and former director. The Special Issue can be viewed here

The Global Labour Journal is an online, open access, academic journal that serves as a forum to capture the plentiful and diverse scholarly work emerging on labour activities worldwide, with the aim of understanding, recording, and promoting the transition of the labour movement to a new form of global unionism, and highlighting the ways labour activities are increasingly shaped by global forces. It’s Editorial Office is located at the Society, Work and Development Institute (SWOP) at the University of the Witwatersrand.
