Talk in Spanish. A recording with English subtitles will follow.
The demand for justice exceeds the expectations of the fields of both politics and culture. Its importance correlates with its evanescence. This talk will explore some of the articulations and limits of the expectation of relating curatorial and artistic practice to the demand for justice, taking as a guide the actions mediated by the University Museum of Contemporary Art of UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico).
Cuauhtémoc Medina is a critic, curator and art historian. Since 2013 he is Chief Curator of the University Museum of Contemporary Art (MUAC) of UNAM.
