SWOP will launch two exciting new books this month. On the 18th of April Ching Kwan Lee (University of California, Los Angeles and SWOP Associate) will discuss her latest book 'The Specter of Global China: Politics, Labor and Foreign Investment in Africa', and then on the 23rd of April, SWOP's Professor Emeritus Jacklyn Cock will be in conversation with Mazibuko Jara at the launch of 'Writing the Ancestral River: A biography of the Kowie'.
